DerMediCare (www.dermedicare.co.uk) has been recognised with the WhatClinic Patient Service Award 2022, an annual award based on patient ratings and reviews from the worldwide healthcare search engine WhatClinic.
In 2022, over 6 million people visited WhatClinic’s medical search directory to find and compare clinics. Dermedicare was one of a few hundred clinics on the website that met the highest standards needed to qualify for the award.

Dermedicare is an aesthetic dermatology clinic based in Swanland. The clinic provides a number of aesthetic treatments from skin rejuvenation and ant-ageing procedures, to treating pigmentation and scarring and is an accredited UK Acne and Rosacea Treatment Centre.
Founded in 2016, Dermedicare i s managed and directed by owner Dr Ashwaq-al-Hadithi (Dr Ash) who began her medical career as a surgeon before taking a position as a GP with an extended role in dermatology in 2014.
Dr Ash's qualifications also include certification from the American Board of Aesthetics Medicine, a Diploma in Dermatology, and she is a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group World.
The judges were particularly impressed by the clinic's focus on providing the most up-to-date and constructive procedures for their patients. Dr Ash and her staff only offer the most researched, safety-tested and evidence-based treatments and products for their patients, assuring them that their wellness and progression comes front and centre at Dermedicare.

"I have been receiving treatment from Dr Ash for several years now and could not imagine receiving aesthetic treatments elsewhere.
The level of care during treatment and aftercare that is given is to a very high standard, what I personally respect and admire Dr Ash for is that she doesn’t oversell treatments. I only ever have administered what is really needed. After enquiring at other clinics in the surrounding areas I am really aware that treatments can be oversold and unnecessary. Dr Ash always has done my treatment unique to my skin, age group and what is really required.
If I ever have questions she always responds and does an excellent follow up once treatment has settled. I have had dermal filler treatment at a previous clinic some time ago and was no that impressed with the treatment to reduce lines around my mouth with chemical peels and fillers. So researched the Dermedicare's products and service and went ahead. Dr Ash was great, knowledgeable and very patient with my questions and concerns. The results were fabulous and it has made me want some more in another area on my face.

"I visited the clinic as I had several skin tags/warts of various sizes around and close to both eyes.
"Dr Ash was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and helped explain the procedure as well as showing me photographs of previous patients.
"All in all, I had about 10-12 skin tags of varying sizes removed from my lower and upper eyes including my lids. Dr Ash was extremely proficient and very careful during the procedure and put my well-being first, asking if I was ok throughout.
"The procedure took around 20-25 minutes and involved local anaesthetic injections which like the procedure itself were mild to moderately painful. However, the results in the end have been totally worth it.
"I am extremely happy with the procedure, end result and overall service that I received. I spoke to several other clinics some of whom either did not reply or took weeks to reply. Dr Ash replied to my enquiries quickly and she had a lovely demeanour that put me at ease.
